The Call
Tuesday was a normal day. Tony and I went to work, had plans for the evening, plans for the weekend, no big deal. My biggest obsession was getting through the school year and packing up my room. Summer was coming and we were excited for warmer weather, camp, hanging out outside. Never did we think we would receive "THE CALL." Our license had finally come in on Saturday, May 18th. We were just glad it finally came through because it seemed like we were waiting on the state forever! At about 3:40 on Tuesday afternoon my phone rang. I noticed it was one of the numbers from the Center. I figured they just wanted some more information or paper work from us, so I answered it thinking nothing of it really. That's where I was wrong. The first thing that tipped me off was the lady who called. I had never worked with her or heard her name in any of our trainings. It was then my head started spinning.
